Prints

My relief prints are carved by hand, using cutting tools to remove the surface of the lino or woodblock. I print onto hand made Japanese paper using the Colombian press in my studio.

I combine traditional printmaking methods with more experimental processes to create a variety of surfaces, including the use of kitchen cleaning products and an electric craft tool called a Dremmel.

Prints are produced by hand in strictly limited editions. Each print is numbered and signed. A small number of Artist Proofs are also available, labelled as A/Ps. These may differ very slightly from the editioned prints.

Unframed prints can be posted in a tube. A selection of framed prints are also available at Staithes Gallery as well as The Pineapple Gallery in Bishop Auckland. Please contact these for availability.
